Driver Legislation

Because of the ever changing legislation regarding drivers' hours and the working time directive, we have to make sure that all our staff are constantly updated. This ensures that all duties are completed legally and within the parameters set down. All our staff are welcome to come in to the office anytime to discuss current legislation or any queries they may have.

From 10th September 2009 the driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competance) took effect. It is a qualification that all lorry, bus and coach drivers will need to have. It has been introduced across the European Union to maintain high driving standards. Driver CPC training is available to all our drivers.

Starting on the 4th April 2005 drivers and crews of vehicles subject to drivers' hours rules must meet and follow the requirements of the Working Time/Road Transport Directive.
